Government of the Sindh, Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat & Ushr Department has submitted a summary to the Chief Minister Sindh in connection with Request for the Upgradation of the Post of Accountant from BPS-12 to 14 in Zakar & Ushr Offices Sindh.
The Accountants working in District Zakar & Ushr Offices requested the Chief Secretary and the Chief Minister Sindh for Upgradation of their posts from BPS-12 to BPS-14 as in other departments; the Accountants are in BPS-14. The application along with letter of services, General Administration & Coordination Department and Chief Minister’s Secretariat are placed (Annexure A & B).
The matter was taken with Finance Department for Upgradation of the said posts being genuine request as in other departments these posts are in BPS-14. The Finance Department has advised to move a summary for Chief Minister Sindh for seeking approval being competent authority to relax ban on Upgradation of posts and financial implication.
It is submitted that these 23 sanctioned posts of Accountants BPS-12 in Zakat & Ushr wing of this department. The financial implication for Upgradation of these posts will be only Rs. 0.544 (M) per annum.
In view of the above it is proposed that these 23 posts of Accountants (BPS-12) of Zakat & Ushr wing of this department be upgraded to BPS-14.
